Sunday bulletin-worship aid
Please Welcome Natalie Mohr!
Natalie joins the St. Theresa staff as Director of Children's Ministry after years of serving families in Central Texas. Though she grew up Catholic, Natalie says that it was during college when her faith came alive. There she led FOCUS bible studies as well as Awakening Retreats. Inspired to “market Christ” to her community, Natalie chose to study Mass Communications and Family and Child Development. After graduating, she served as the Marketing and Education Coordinator at the St. John Paul II Life Center and worked at Catholic Charities in the Archdiocese of San Antonio, leading two programs and engaging parishes.
“I am excited to provide fun, formational education and empower families to live out the faith in their homes.

Friendly Persuasion in the Family Center
Senior adults of the parish are invited to Monday Matinee at 2:30 p.m., August 2nd, in the Family Center, where we will be screening
a beautiful 1956 film about a Quaker family in southern Indiana during the American Civil War and how the war tests their pacifist beliefs. This nostalgic film will transport you to another time and place, watching Dorothy McGuire play the devout Quaker minister and loving mother of three. Gary Cooper is superb as the thoughtful Quaker husband and father. RSVP to

Celebrating Grandparents and the Elderly
World Day for Grandparents and the Elderly
is to be celebrated this Sunday, July 25. An initiative of
Dicastery for Laity, Family and Life
, this day offers the opportunity to pray for grandparents and the elderly, acknowledging the contribution they make in each of our lives. On July 25, Bishop Vasquez invites you to join him in praying this prayer:
I thank You, Lord, for the comfort of Your presence: even in times of loneliness, You are my hope and my confidence, You have been my rock and my fortress since my youth! I thank You for having given me a family and for having blessed me with a long life. I thank You for moments of joy and difficulty, for the dreams that have already come true in my life and for those that are still ahead of me. I thank You for this time of renewed fruitfulness to which You call me. Increase, O Lord, my faith, make me a channel of your peace, teach me to embrace those who suffer more than me, to never stop dreaming and to tell of your wonders to new generations. Protect and guide Pope Francis and the Church, that the light of the Gospel might reach the ends of the earth. Send Your Spirit, O Lord, to renew the world, that the storm of the pandemic might be calmed, the poor consoled and wars ended. Sustain me in weakness and help me to live life to the full in each moment that You give me, in the certainty that you are with me every day, even until the end of the age. Amen.
