Observing Divine Mercy Sunday
Divine Mercy Sunday is based on the private
revelations of St. Faustina Kowalska. In 2000, Pope John Paul II canonized St. Faustina and designated the Second Sunday of Easter as Divine Mercy Sunday. All are encouraged to observe this special feast day by reciting the Divine Mercy Chaplet or joining in a Divine Mercy Holy Hour like the one offered on EWTN at 3 p.m. today. In addition this is a day of special graces for the faithful who receive both communion and confession on this day. Learn more.
Fr. Greg Romanski Remembered
Tributes from parishioners past and present came for Fr. Greg Romanski after news of his passing. Fr. Greg served as pastor of St. Theresa from 1999 to 2004, and as a priest for nearly 43 years.
“I will always remember his beautiful soul and how hard he worked for us.” wrote Marion Cykoski.
Kirsten Dietz Voinis shared, “He was such a guiding light and leader when the church burned. I’ll never forget him sitting on the steps of the altar in the gym, still in his smoky clothes, and telling all of us that it’s the people who are the church, not the building.”
Fr. Larry asks that we offer prayers of thanksgiving for his life and ministry and for the repose of his soul. Once we learn of any funeral arrangements, we will be sure to pass along the information.

Simply type Facebook St. Theresa Catholic Church Austin in the search bar on your browser, or click on the tiny F (Facebook logo) in the top right corner of our website, and you will be taken to our Facebook page. Once the Mass starts, but not before, you will see the STCC logo pop up on a black background, soon the full picture and video of the Mass will come up.

Cornerstone Resumes This Sunday

ST Moms Endow Study Resumes
The St. Theresa Moms group will pick back up with their Endow study via Zoom. STM will meet Tuesday evenings from 8:30-9:30 to reflect on the readings and discussion questions beginning Tuesday 4/21. Contact Debra Vogler to join or ask questions.
Parish Supports Children’s Catechesis
While children are unable to gather at the parish for Sunday or Wednesday Catechesis, families are continuing their child’s faith formation at home. They receive weekly emails of the catechesis curriculum and activity pages, as well as the publisher’s online link https://aliveinchrist.osv.com/family for the home session plans. There are also optional free online activities for children, like teachingcatholickids.com. In addition, the Director of Children’s Catechesis, Beverly Riviello, sends ideas for easy and fun activity ideas, such as ways to honor Mary in May that will be coming soon!

St. Vincent de Paul Chapter is Grateful

STCS Hosts Virtual Info Session
Prospective families of St. Theresa Catholic School are invited to a Virtual Info Session held via Zoom on Tuesday, April 21, from 11 a.m. to Noon. Hear from our staff and St. Theresa families and ask questions about our school. Register at the school website.
Special Collection Moved
The Seminarians and Priest Education and Formation special collection scheduled for May 3, will now be taken up on the weekend of Sunday, June 21, Father’s Day for our priestly fathers.
Don't Turn in Your CRS Rice Bowl
Please do not return your CRS Rice Bowl to the narthex of the church this year. Instead, please count the money you have collected and donate the amount through our E-Giving portal (there is a drop down selection for CRS) or write a check to St. Theresa Catholic Church with CRS in the memo line. The parish will forward the funds. Thank you.
